Rifles Direct was originally set up by the Royal Green Jackets' Regimental Trustees in 2005 and started trading as RGJ Direct in April 2006 before becoming Rifles Direct in February 2007. It was formed in order to harness the Rifle Regiment brand so that soldiers might benefit from sales of Regimental items both internally and to the wider general public. All items sold through Rifles Direct are extensively sampled and assessed by Regimental Headquarters The Rifles for conformity of design, quality and value in keeping with its established Corporate Identity Guide.
The Company is owned and funded by the RGJ Trustees whose assets support the Rifles. It employs a manager and uses a fulfilment agency in Southampton (providing work for adults with special needs) to process and dispatch its products. It is controlled by a Management Board of volunteers made up from serving and retired soldiers from the Rifles and former Regiments. We welcome feedback on our products - see Contact Us for details of how to get in touch.
All profits from Rifles Direct sales go back to the Regimental Charity that provides money to the seven Rifles battalions for welfare activities and to retired soldiers in need of benevolence.
