This figure is 12 inches high (30.5cm) and depicts a Rifleman turning and calling his fellow Riflemen 'To Arms!' (alert)
From the studio of Somerset artist and former Rifleman Perry Chapman comes this exquisite and limited sculpture celebrating The Rifles and their proud 'Rifles' lineage. Each figure in Perry's set of 3 (see other windows in this section) is patiently sculpted in wax and so carries the 'history' of the piece in tool marks and layering before being hand cast in cold metal and burnished to achieve a 'forged iron' finish. As a consequence no two castings will be exactly the same thus adding to the art-work and its uniqueness.
Please note that as the figurine is individually made for each customer, from commissioning (date the order is placed) to delivery may take up to 4 weeks. Each figurine will be sent to you direct from Perry's studios and be accompanied with a signed certificate of provenance. Price includes P&P (UK Only) and VAT.
Perry has dedicated all 3 figures to the memory of his brother Cpl Shaun (Canada) Chapman 2 RGJ. As a consequence he will be donating a percentage of his sales of this figurine to the Rifles Care For Casualties and Leukaemia Research in his brothers name.
