Royal Green Jackets Museum The Royal Green Jackets Regiment was formed in 1966 from the The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, the King’s Royal Rifle Corps and the Rifle Brigade. The museum's displays tell of the part played by these regiments in campaigning for peace over two and a half centuries. The museum is housed in Peninsula Barracks, in the centre of Winchester.
Durham Light Infantry Museum The Durham Light Infantry Museum has a superb collection of uniforms, equipment, weapons, silver, photographs and battlefield relics covering the whole history of the Regiment from its formation in 1758 to the final laying-up of the Colours in 1968 in Durham Cathedral when it joined three other county light infantry regiment to become the Light Infantry.
