Rifles Rank Slides. It has been decreed by the Rifles Regimental Council that with immediate effect Rank Slides will no longer be manufactured with the Rifles embroidered badge (Bugle). The reason quite simply is that for some ranks and some Rifles associated units the slide is too cluttered. There is a 'Waste Out' ruling on this change. This means that until all current stocks are exhausted rank slides with the embroidered bugle are acceptable. Authority Annex B to LF/CRF/DO/1/5/9 dated 10Jun 09
