Rifles Rank Slides. It has been decreed by the Rifles Regimental Council that with immediate effect Rank Slides will no longer be manufactured with the Rifles embroidered badge (Bugle). The reason quite simply is that for some ranks and some Rifles associated units the slide is just too cluttered. There is a 'Waste Out' ruling on this change which means that until the 'Waste Out' period is complete (all stocks exhausted) slides with the embroidered bugle are perfectly acceptable.
